The STEM Queens kicked off the day by continuing coding exercises from the previous week. After a few camp days of guest speakers and fun activities, they are pumped and ready for learning different programming languages. A few of them have now moved forward with Snakify, a platform that teaches the basics of python, as well as web design. During break, we walked to 7-11 where the girls enjoyed slurpees on a hot day.
For tomorrow (7/25), we will be celebrating Python day! Note: In honor of Python day, we will be bringing in actual snakes. The snakes are de-fanged and completely safe for the girls to play with. It will be supervised at all time to ensure your child’s safety.
As a reminder, please have the permission slips ready by tomorrow for our trip to Microsoft on Thursday! A copy will be attached to this email.
Here are some resources that the girls can use to continue working on projects at home:

- CodeAcademy: codeacademy.com
- Scratch: scratch.mit.edu
- Snakify: snakify.com
