Hey Parents and Students!

Today was a wonderful day, a bittersweet ending to our Annual XXCoders Summer Camp! A huge shoutout and thank you to all of our supporters who stand behind XXCoders and all our work and what we stand behind. A thank you to Anissa from Girls Inc., Devra from Applicaster, and Shana from Kelly Services and Long Island Women in Technology for being our different guest speakers! A huge thank you to our supporters BDO, NYIT, Oracle, and Hofstra University for the goodies given to the girls. Also a big thank you to Mrs. Reynolds and Ralph from the Wyandanch Youth Center for providing us rides and a classroom every day of the camp.

Also thank you again Jason and Busie for arranging our trip to Google NYC! Ms. Diana had a wonderful time teaching you guys different languages and platforms such as Scratch, Java, HTML, and Python 3. I hope you all reconsider joining XXCoders again for our wonderful journey and future opportunities! Ms. Diana had a great time with the girls and hope for them to spread awareness to minorities in certain work spaces and that there can always be improvement!
